Planning Scheme
Ararat Planning Scheme Online
The Victorian Planning Provisions provides a consistent framework for all planning schemes throughout Victoria. Each municipality has a planning scheme which outlines the State and local policy provisions and the zones and overlay controls. Within Ararat Rural City, land use and development, as well as its protection, are controlled by the Ararat Planning Scheme.
The Ararat Planning Scheme, and maps detailing the land use zones of the Scheme is available to view at the Ararat Rural City Council Municipal Offices or online.
Planning Property Reports
A planning property report outlines the zone and overlay controls for your property and is available free of charge from the Land Channel.
