Permit to Burn Stubble

Stubble Burning Permits will be issued from Monday 20 March 2017.

CFA District 16 Group Officers and Council have agreed to issue permits as of this date with the following conditions:

  • 3 units
  • 3600 litres water 
  • 4 adults in attendance 
  • Bare earth break - not less than 3 metres wide and cleared of all flammable materials, then mechanically turned. (preferred 5 metre break)
  • Not more than 100 hectares per burn.

No written applications will be accepted.
